Edwin Ng Ying Wang was born on the 14th March 1999 in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur yet he was grown up in Klang, Selangor. He started exposed to music during his primary school time with a simple tremolo harmonica, without any musical knowledge and theories, trained his sense of music himself. He then started piano end of year 12 under Ms. Christina Tan Jin Hoon. During his secondary time, he has actively involved in the school Harmonica Ensemble, which ignited his interest more towards harmonies and arrangements. At about the age of 16, he started to try out composed simple melodies as well as some popular songs. After his secondary study, he continues to pursue STPM in the science stream. Yet he soon found out his passion for music more which lead to his tertiary study taking a Bachelor Degree in Music at University of Malaya (UM). His major instrument is saxophone and minor in Jazz drum. He met Ms. Susanna Saw when he joined UM Choir as a bass part vocal. By chance, he was introduced by Ms. Susanna to learn choral writing under Dr. Zechariah Goh.

In 2020, he joined the “Intra-Varsity Chinese Song Composing Competition” and one of his compositions successfully entered Top 10 final during 2020. At mid-year of 2020, his popular song composition was selected by a music publication company, “Jumuro Music” and he was then being signed under “KO Music” as an exclusive songwriter. His first Chinese popular single EP “Malaysia, What Do We Eat Today?(马来西亚今天吃什么?)” was published on social media on 14th October 2020. He is also currently collaborating with both his senior in UM as an independent Christian production team called “Hope Music盼望音乐” and successfully published their first single “Harapan Ada Di Depan Mata” on 16th September 2020 on YouTube and Facebook. Furthermore, Piano Trio “Journey To Tanah Baru” won 2 nd place in Tunku Zain Piano Trio competition in April, 2021.
