Stefanus Vincent, a native of Surabaya, Indonesia, is a composer whose musical journey began at a young age under the guidance of Ms. Ike Maria Sinandang. He quickly embraced his passion for music and, during his junior high school years, became a part of the SMP Santa Maria Choir, now known as the Canticum Mariae Virginis choir. This pivotal experience was under the direction of Ms. Rara Nuringdyah Anggun Kinasih.
After completing junior high school, Vincent's dedication led him to the St. Louis High School Choir, where he had the privilege of being part of a talented ensemble under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as the late Mr. F.X. Aryono Soeprapto, Mr. Onny Prihantono, and Ms. Maria Widyaningrum. During his time with the choir, they achieved remarkable accolades, including the prestigious Grand Prix Champion title at the 4th Singapore International Choir Festival 2017.
Vincent's choral journey gained momentum in his high school's second year as he entered his inaugural choral composition competition in 2017. This event marked the inception of his enduring dedication to composition, a pursuit he has steadfastly followed ever since. Under the mentorship of Mr. Bagus Syaffrieza Parradhika, Vincent's compositions have continued to progress and flourish. In 2021, he expanded his choral experience by joining the Rosa Mystica choir, an independent ensemble under the direction of Ms. Ike Maria Sinandang. This step broadened his musical horizons, allowing him to explore new realms in choral artistry.
Currently pursuing a master's degree in Singapore, Vincent balances a demanding academic schedule with his unwavering dedication to honing his musical skills. Despite his busy schedule, he remains deeply involved in crafting new compositions and arrangements, showcasing his unyielding passion for music and creative expression.
