Ang Imong Guintug-an nga Gugma [The Love that You Expressed] (SATB)
The song was composed by musician turned soldier, Captain Labindao. A Filipino guerilla during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines, Captain Labindao was sent and posted by the Revolutionary Government of the Philippines to lead the local guerillas in the small town of Looc, Romblon Province. During this assignment, the captain fell for a local maiden. With mutual feelings for each other, they met secretly; and as described in the song, every moment was filled with joy and happiness. However, this secret relationship did not go unnoticed for long. Suspected to be a conspirator, the Japanese government constantly monitored the girl. On the day of one of their usual secret meet-up, she was shot and died.
