Sengko Sengko (SSA)

Sengko-Sengko is a traditional Batak rhyme song (pantun) from North Sumatra, Indonesia. Once sung by young men outside the homes of young women as part of courtship rituals, the song is playful, melodic, and full of charm.

This arrangement captures the spirit of that tradition while drawing inspiration from Batak musical instruments such as the taganing (drums), hasapi (lute), garantung (wooden bars), sulim (bamboo flute), and ogung (gong).
