Lyrical and expressive, I Search for Heaven captures a child’s wonder and imagination through soaring melodic lines and rich harmonic colour. The text invites singers to look beyond the visible world toward inner peace and joy, expressed through Darius Lim’s signature blend of emotional depth and accessibility.

An aleatoric section adds a moment of ethereal freedom, encouraging young choristers to explore sound, texture, and ensemble awareness in a safe and creative way. Ideal for developing phrasing, tone, and musical sensitivity.
