Yosefano F. Ardani
Yosefano Febrian Ardani started his choral journey in 2015 at the Petra Christian University Students Choir and served as coach assistant for three years from 2017. He routinely sang as a recitalist in the Coach and Coach Assistants’ Vocal Recital, held by Church Music Appreciation and Development Program in Petra Christian University Surabaya. He is now with the Petra Chorus (the alumni team of Petra Choir). He has served with his choir at many churches and institutions across provinces in Indonesia, such as East Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, Bali, and West Papua.
Yosefano trained under Mr. Rubin Lukito, Ms. Aprilia W. Takasenserang, and Mr. Aris Sudibyo for vocal and choral music. He has also attended vocal masterclasses with Dr. Samuel Cheung from Singapore, Mrs. Catharina Leimena and Mrs. Binu Sukaman from Jakarta, Indonesia. He taught himself choral composition and arrangement, and has been focusing on church music and ethnomusicology, especially on Balinese ethnomusicology.
He was assistant conductor of Surabaya Reformed Evangelical Youth Choir; choirmaster of Indonesian Reformed Evangelical Church Children and Adults Choir at Gempol, Pasuruan; and a private vocal coach, composer and arranger.
