Taboeh Gloria is the second part of Misa di Pulau Dewata (Mass in Dewata Island). This mass is a fusion of ordinary mass with Balinese music. Taboeh means 'to beat' the percussion instruments; or in the context of the human voice, it means 'to sound' or 'to shout'. Hence, Taboeh Gloria could be meant “to shout the glory of the God Most High.” The Balinese Gamelan ensemble is referenced throughout this piece.
