Gerald Tan

Gerald holds a Master of Music in Music Education, and he brings his passion for music education and cultural inclusivity to the forefront, serving as a member of the Voices of Singapore Children's Choir faculty, and working with several primary and secondary schools in Singapore. As a founder of Muziksea, a publishing company dedicated to Southeast Asian composers, he's committed to amplifying diverse voices in the choral world. With his extensive experience as a choral arranger and director, Gerald's own arrangements have been performed by choirs all over the world. Gerald's teaching philosophy emphasises inclusivity and differentiated learning to cater to diverse student needs. A seasoned performer himself, Gerald has performed at prestigious venues worldwide. His firsthand experience as a singer informs his work as a conductor and director, allowing him to deeply empathize with choristers and understand their musical needs.
