Gerard Dela Peña is a celebrated composer and conductor whose works have been performed by distinguished choirs worldwide, including at the prestigious Cantata Macau International Festival. His exceptional contributions to choral music were further recognized in 2024, when the Cantata Macau Ensemble, under his direction, achieved Grand Prix victory, earning him the title of “Most Outstanding Conductor.”

Gerard honed his skills in choral conducting, composition, and arranging under renowned mentors Emmanuel Louie Aribon, Reginald Tan, Anthony Go Villanueva, and Cyro Bon Cloui Moral. His dedication to the choral arts has led to the establishment of the Gerard Dela Peña Choral Festival and Competition, a landmark event inaugurated in 2024 and named in his honor.

As a conductor, Gerard has led esteemed ensembles such as the Our Lady of Fatima-Voices of the Phoenix Chorale and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig Chorale. Currently, he directs the San Beda Musika Medisina and Cantata Manila Ensemble. Beyond these roles, he actively conducts choral workshops across the Philippines, reaching communities in Antipolo, Quezon City, Manila, Taguig, Caloocan, San Mateo, Tarlac, Laguna, Baguio, La Union, Pangasinan, Bataan, Cavite, and Palawan.
